The Cayo Costa Island 2- hour excursion consist of leaving YOLO Beach and heading north on the Gulf of Mexico towards North Captiva Island, passing Redfish Pass to the east, traversing North Captiva Island’s coastline, passing Captiva Pass to the east, traversing Cayo Costa Island’s coastline. Continuing north to and through Boca Grande Pass to Pine Island Sound, heading south to Captiva Pass, continuing south in Pine Island Sound to Redfish Pass, through Redfish Pass, out the Gulf of Mexico and south returning back to YOLO Beach.
Generally on these excursions, we experience sightings of Bottlenose Dolphins, West Indian Manatee and various types of sharks, rays & turtles. Depending on time, we may have the opportunity to stop for a short shelling / beach walk on the Cayo Costa Island excursion. Water conditions will vary with the time of year the excursion takes place. For example, every day the water in the Gulf of Mexico is not flat calm. It may become choppy due to wind conditions at the time and also may have a ground swell from previous storms that have passed through the area. Some physical ability may be necessary here with regard to riding the Waverunner. Muscles in your arms and legs may feel fatigued over time, therefore we ask that you have some physical ability that will enable you to enjoy your excursion experience.
You must be at least 16 years old to drive, with a photo ID that includes date of birth.
No riders/passengers in front of the driver
*Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 is required to either have successfully completed a National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) approved boating education course or have passed a course equivalency or temporary certificate examination and have in their possession a boating education ID card and a photo identification card before operating a vessel with a motor of 10 HP or more in Florida. Identification cards for persons completing the course or the equivalency exam are good for a lifetime. Temporary Certificate exams are made available to the public through us. The temporary certificate is valid for 12 months from the issue date.

ANYONE under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a release of liability for the Waverunner.
Passengers must be at least 48″ (122 cm) tall.
Each Waverunner will hold a maximum of 3 people up to 450 lbs. (204 kg., 32 stone)
Cayo Costa Excursion $265 per Waverunner. Each Waverunner accommodates up to 3 people, totaling not more than 450 lbs.
